About the company
With the aim to decarbonise  the chemicals industry, AromatEco produce chemicals directly from CO2. We engineer microorganisms to directly convert CO2 into high-value chemicals, replacing those currently obtained from fossil fuels or tropical agriculture. 

 

The role

Your main objective is to contribute towards our first prototype, by designing, evaluating and implementing efficient chemical product capture. You will be working in collaboration with the whole team and reporting to the CSO and management team.

 

In this role you will:

  • Design, evaluate and implement effective chemical product capture

  • Help design and implement scale-up of entire bioprocess

  • Implement and maintain analytics

  • Lead quantification of environmental impact

 

Requirements

Essential:

  • Bachelor's degree minimum in Chemical engineering or similar subjects

  • Practical experience with chemicals separation and analytics

  • Theoretical understanding of chemicals separation and life cycle analysis

Desirable:

  • MRes and/or PhD in chemical engineering or chemistry

  • Practical experience with in situ product removal

  • Process modelling

  • Life Cycle Analysis and/or Techno-economic analysis
